I transitioned into psychotherapy after a career as a humanitarian aid worker with the United Nations. I bring to my practice a multicultural perspective, shaped by years of living and working in Africa and the Middle East. I enjoy working with clients from diverse ethnic, cultural, religious and spiritual backgrounds, as well as sexual orientations and gender identities.

I graduated from Brown University with a B.A. in Psychology and Columbia University with an M.S.S.W. in Social Work. I am a graduate of the Integrated Trauma Therapy program at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy and have trained in various therapy modalities, including Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing.

I have been interested in healing since as long as I can remember, and over the years I have trained in wellness coaching, meditation, energy healing, hypnosis, and neuro-linguistic programming. I believe that each of us is on our own unique journey of healing — and I am honored to be a part of my clients' paths to greater wholeness.

My Therapeutic Approach

An authentic relationship, an integrative practice.

The effects of trauma and other mental health concerns can leave individuals feeling stuck and disconnected from their true selves. I'm passionate about guiding clients to reclaim their identity, break free from past pain, and rebuild their lives.

The foundation of my approach is an authentic relationship in which clients feel seen, heard, and understood. I interweave cognitive, emotional, and somatic techniques into a client-centered therapy to facilitate healing and growth leading to lasting change.

“It is my intention that clients experience a welcoming atmosphere of safety and support from the first session.”

In our work together, I offer a warm, supportive space where you can explore your emotions, uncover your strengths, and cultivate resilience.

  1. Cognitive

Understanding the patterns of thought that shape how we experience ourselves and the world.

  2. Emotional

Meeting feelings with curiosity rather than avoidance — allowing them to be felt, named, and integrated.

  3. Somatic

Attending to what the body holds — because trauma and stress live not only in memory, but in the nervous system.

  4. Relational

A steady, genuine therapeutic relationship as the ground for everything else — the room where healing becomes possible.

Services

Two paths — one continuous care.

Integrative, client-centered therapy

For individuals seeking support with a range of mental health concerns — including depression, anxiety, grief, low self-esteem and burnout — I use an integrated approach that interweaves cognitive, emotional and somatic modalities into a client-centered frame.

Client-centered therapy emphasizes a safe, non-judgmental space where you — the client — are the expert in your own life. It is built on the belief that every individual has an innate capacity for healing and self-actualization when supported with genuine care and respect.

Trauma therapy

Whether stemming from a single event or prolonged distress, trauma can affect your emotions, thoughts, and body in profound ways. Trauma therapy provides a safe, supportive space to address these effects with care and expertise.

Using evidence-based modalities including EMDR, Sensorimotor psychotherapy and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy, we work together to process painful memories, reduce distressing symptoms and rebuild a sense of safety — individualized to your needs and paced according to best practice.
